10 months old is fantastically fun! i know it will just keep getting better! my big boy is almost always standing up in his crib when i go in to get him now after naps.





he always uses that one little finger to keep the food in his mouth- its the funniest little thing! i was so happy to catch him doing it, so i'll remember it forever!

those little hands and fingers! so sweet!

10 months

well, here are the infamous drum/bear monthly pics. i couldn't get him to sit still without attacking the bear until i gave him the remote! and you may notice i have new backdrop for these pictures! i'm loving it!

Mother's Day

happy mother's day to all the mom's out there! yes, once again- i am very late with my blogging. better late than never though. my first mother's day was wonderful! jeremy and rivers let me sleep in until 8:45!!! that is longest i've slept in i don't know how long. i woke up to both my cutie pie boys coming in with big smiles, super sweet cards and a very exciting gift! rivers knew just what i would love- an 80 minute massage!!! i told jeremy he's going to have to drop me off and pick me up b/c i will be pure jelly after an 80 minute massage! i can't wait to cash that bad boy in! so then i spent the rest of the day relaxing with my boys. i didn't even change out of my pj's until late afternoon and didn't bother to shower until before bed (hence how horrible i look in the pics)!

9 months was beginning of "snack time" which now involves food, rather than milk. he loves these little puff things, but makes this face like they are so disgusting! it cracks me up!

9 months

since rivers is 10 months old today, i thought it appropriate to show off his 9 month pics that hadn't made it up here yet. month 9 flew by- mostly because of the move and starting work back. as we all get into the flow of things and our house slowly gets more organized, i'm sure i'll be better with blogging. i'll try my best to get his 10 month pics up here sooner. ;)

a few weeks back we took rivers to the playground that is near our new house for the first time. it is just a short walk to the swings, playground, picnic tables, soccer fields, and even has a small track around the whole area. we're so excited to be so close! anyway, this was his first time on a swing. of course, he loved it! i knew he would- he always enjoyed his baby swing (and for a long time it was the only place he would nap)! and not surprisingly, it wasn't long before he almost fell asleep!

yes, i am very behind on my blogging. easter was a month ago already and i'm finally now getting these up here. someone was spoiled, as usual! here is his easter loot...





the easter bunny brought rivers a beach basket! it was full of beach toys, so now we're all set for his first beach trip!


not to be out done by the easter bunny, grammy decided to give rivers elmo! we set him up in the living room off to the side. it wasn't long before rivers spotted him and forgot all about his beach basket!
