the way we were

this particular morning, jaime and patrick had come over for breakfast. marley was sitting in the chair and jeremy decided to torment her by sitting rivers on her. rather than getting off the chair, marley decided to make the best of it...at least someone was giving her some love and attention! she loved it, as did rivers!



jasper had to come see what the heck was going on...



now for his next trick! this same morning also happened to be the weekend that rivers figured out how to crawl! we put him down on the floor so he could show jaime and patrick his skills. he was so excited to have an audience!


now how darn cute is that little smile!!! he's so proud of himself!


at this point in time, rolling was still an option. (it no longer is the preferred means of transportation.)


i'm sure he's thinking about how much trouble he can get himself into now!


this was just a different random morning of his usual cuteness...





finally jasper has found a use for this child...throwing his ball...
