the way we were

Its amazing what a difference 1 week can do for a 6 month old. A few weeks back I took Rivers to the studio to try to get a photo of him sitting up. We weren't there for more than 10 minutes (if even that) and I think I snapped a total of 5 pictures before he fell backwards, hit his head, and it was all over from there. We packed up and went home. It wasn't but 1 week later and he was sitting up beautifully- even able to play with toys while sitting. Now its a regular thing for him to just be sitting around, hanging out, chewing on whatever he can get those little hands on! Baths are mostly spent sitting up, playing with the toys and splashing the water with his hands. 6 months old is fantastically fun...and my dear child continues to amaze me!
