Its always been a tradition in my family to open 1 gift on Christmas Eve. So this year we continued the tradition with Rivers and plopped him in front of all the gifts (just to taunt him) and then we let him open 1. As you can see, we also left Santa some cookies, which Rivers was trying to get his little hands on.
"I'm just checking out this gift over here for Grandpa, I'm not going to steal one of Santa's cookies, I promise!"
"Hmmm, which gift should I open first? Let me just get a feel for each of them before I decide."
"This one looks yummy! I'll open this one!"
